Craigslist Post Tool, Marcel Bartley – ReMAX Real Estate

A customized Craigslist real estate listing tool similar to Postlets developed for a Portsmouth, NH realtor.

A client works in the competitive rental real estate market in Portsmouth, NH.  They had been using Postlets.com as a tool to list rentals on  Craigslist.com.  The client wanted a custom tool with their own look and feel.

A web application tool was created to build rental real estate listings for Craigslist.  The data was saved in a MySQL database.  The tool generates the necessary HTML that can be dropped into a Craigslist posting by the client.  Craigslist allows only a small set of HTML tags, many of which are deprecated. It also relies on the table tag to display graphics data.  There was a trial and error process but a reliable style was created for the client.
