A client of our website care plan needed a website refresh. We looked at some other historical society websites and came up with a strategy.
A modern, responsive mobile-ready, WCAG-compliant (accessibility) site was created using the original WordPress data content.
The updated design and navigation created a more engaging and intuitive experience, encouraging greater exploration of their content. Using their high-quality imagery and including digital exhibits brought their artifacts and documents to life for online visitors.
We also took an existing walking tour printed guide, and created an online gallery with search filters to explore the architecture of Norfolk, CT.
This modern platform has led to a clearer presentation of events, membership details, and ways to support the society, ultimately aiding in their mission and growth.
