A local branch of the international healthy food promotion organization.

A local non-profit group based in Portsmouth, NH, Slow Food Seacoast, needed a website that could be easily updated by several people with a wide variety of computer skills.  They required the ability to add and subtract pages as different sponsored events occurred.  They also wanted to coordinate the site with a monthly newsletter. A hosted WordPress CMS was chosen.

My role was to install the WordPress site on a server host.  The pages were created.  An existing CSS theme as customized for the group.  A box for visitor newsletter sign up was added.  This form stored the data into the  group’s newsletter address database.  I also provided hours of instruction to several group members on the use of the WordPress Dashboard, which is used to create and edit site pages.
